APEX Legends is taking the world by storm right now and of course the Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts(EA) are trying to keep it that way. Which means more and more updates and patch upgrades. Since it’s release there haven’t been many changes to the game itself while the most updates were focused on bug fixes, improvements and crash fixes. The games developer added a few new cosmetic items for the Valentine’s day. These items include a banned for Pathfinder called ”Love of the Game” and a Longbow Epic Skin called ”Through the Heart” in the APEX Legends update for the PreSeason patch.
Although game seeming to run quite smoothly, Respawn had some issues to resolve. At the first launch day the developers addressed some matchmaking issues that the players were experiencing on PS4 and PC. These matchmaking issues only lasted around 10 to 20 minutes thanks to Respawn’s quick act. The games developer has obviously one of the biggest resources in the gaming industry since it’s partnered with EA. However things don’t go as planned sometimes. even if you’re as big as EA. APEX Legends players had to face a server crash and were unable to play for around 5 hours in February 21st.
Respawn Entertainment’s and EA’s efforts are incredible but when you reach around 25 million players in the course of only a week, you are hurdled to have some server problems. Of course we don’t blame neither of the two companies. But when you want to play your new favorite game and you aren’t able to do so for 5 hours, it is a bit overwhelming for the most part.
