APEX Legends PS4 was released with the PC and Xbox One version at the same day in February 4th. There are not many major differences about the game on different platforms. However there are some graphical differences, not too noticable but still important in the eyes of our beloved gamers. Compared to PC and Xbox One X versions of the game, PS4 visuals seems to a bit blurr out in higher distances, a bit of color texture losses and has some minor frame drops compared to and PC. Xbox One X has similar problems when it comes to what PS4 visuals are lacking from the PC version but not as many as losses in the color and frame drops compared to the other console.
On the other hand, when it comes to base systems, PS4 surpasses Xbox One far ahaed. While the standart PS4 plays the game between 720p and 1080p. Xbox One runs the game at a lower rate, ranging between 648p to 720p. If you don’t care much about the frame rate it’s best to play APEX Legends on PS4 or PS4 Pro since it has the largest player-base.
Xbox One X on the other hand is the best system that runs the game compared to all other platforms. Both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is running the game at a similar frame rate around 1080p to 1440p, though PS4 Pro tends to drop more to 1080p area more frequently. Even if you don’t care about the frame rate that your console gives you, it plays a huge role in an first-person shooter game that has a very high pace.
